I found this scanning across the rubble with a rather long lens, wondering if I would spot anything interesting. I did!
When I went back 3 days later with an even longer lens, I found many of the things I photographed on the first trip, but I wasn’t able to find this again. Rain may have displaced it, or it blew away, or somebody might have moved it (I did see people walk out on the surviving joists over the rubble, and heard people describe getting down on top of the actual rubble; things I wasn’t willing to risk).
