I got a few good photos of artist’s at work. This one may be the best combination of showing what the work will be and showing the person working on it.
(“Strange Fruit” is the title of a powerful song made famous by Billie Holiday, written by Abel Meeropol. The song objects in very forthright terms to the lynching of Black Americans. Everybody already knows that, right? But repeating true things everybody knows does little harm, and telling someone things they don’t know sometimes does good.)
